Title: Action Joe Director: Jason Ruiz Genre: Light Hearted Action/Comedy Review by: MidbackMan 4/10 Review: I had seen Action Joe a long time ago, way before this review was written but I thought I would watch it again. With that, came this review. I didn't feel like reviewing all of it's features with numbers since but instead give it one overall score and my opinion in writing. The story, if you didn't already know, is about Action Joe who is being attacked by an assassin for no apparent reason and Joe just defends himself for a couple minutes until the movie is over and the bad guy is toast. Pretty Simple. Along with a simple story, there's simple dialogue. Jason as a little kid, did all of the lines himself in the same voice and the quality was bad. The sound effects were pretty fun to hear but the music was some boring midi. The scenes were for the most part premade scenes with a few other made scenes. nothing special, though. The only part I really cared for in the movie was the intro. Despite bad animation and voices the intro was a pretty cool way of introducing Action Joe. I also liked the way the title appeared on the screen with bullet holes. I don't think I've seen done before in a 3dmm movie and it was cool. Other than those couple of things AJ isn't really worth a lot of your time. It's pretty old now and it seems like one of those movies that was made for fun rather than to entertain the masses, which is cool with me cuz that's how I make all of my movies.
