Summary:
I must say this is one of the most eye appealing movies Ive ever seen! (At least in 3dmm) The amount of detail is superb, right down to the number of damn newspapers at the newstand. Music and sound effects are up to par and sometimes excede anything out there today in 3dmm. Another thing that caught my eye is the animations with the dinosuars and then top it off he pulls a "skeletol" x-ray of one of the 3dmm characters while they train and prepare for the journey to destroy the asteroid........... it does the damn moon walk for crying out loud!!!! 
Like the real moive it lacks true science in that a asteroid the size of a car wouldnt just kill the person it hits and a few others around it...... rather it would level the entire city. Also, you wouldnt be able to see the asteroids as they are about to hit the earth, any warning would be a great flash and then miliseconds later a atomic bomb as the asteroid hits earth. Anyway, thats not important. Whats important is that Foo Fighters did the ending credit song.  =)

The movie is great yes, but it has many short commings.......... such as character development. He just throws 4 "heros" into the story and then they destroy the asteroid. Then one of the heros is really a terrorist........... that makes the government release..........ahhh crap! Thats gonna be to long!!! TO make it short it wasnt very clear just what the hell happened.......... I know they destroyed the asteroid.......... but............ehhh........ it gets really confusing toward the end and you find yourself scratching your head saying "What the fuck just happened here?!" Besides, the quality of the movie degrades seriously towards the end and its rushed!! My god you can tell it was rushed! And just what the hell happened to the terrorist they had to release?! Eh?! AHHH!!!!!!

Anyway, great, great, great movie. It just sucks after they take off from earth to destroy the asteroid.
