Title: Counter Attack Company/Director: Tyrant Entertainment/Grant Fortuin Genre: Action Reviewed by MidbackMan Summary: Another average action flick with old style effects. That pretty much sums it up. Scale: 1 to 10: Very Bad A film of just terrible Quality; Don't bother 11 to 20: Bad A few slightly redeeming qualities but still not worth your time 21 to 30: It's okay Very ordinary technical stats; Not worthless but not great 31 to 40: Good Above average; Usually recommended to the fan of the specific genre 41 to 50: Very Good Well worth your attention; Content and design are spectacular Review: Yep, Counter Attack is a plain ole action movie. It has at least a fairly good story to it but it's kind of ruined by really bad quality voices and acting as well as the old style of 3dmm. Y'know, premade scenes, midis, etc etc... I could look past that though, I didn't think it was all bad. It's about a group of Cop Killers and one hero in the police force who has to stop the gang before the entire force is wiped out (or something like that)... Be assured that the hero saves the day. The story isn't too deep or anything and there were times in the middle where I would've changed little parts of the story to add effect. If this movie were redone, with better effects and maybe some more Cop spy/infiltration type stuff thrown in it would've been really cool. Speaking of Spy and cop infiltration... What the hell am I talking about? Well, at the beginning we see a cop who's actually one of the bad guys. Unfortunately, because of the bad voices and all that I didn't really realize what was happening until a scene or two later. Anyway, this movie is kind of okay, but nothing really special. It's not something I would say "hey this movie is great, go get it!" but it did have some cool ideas and could've been really cool. Story: 7/10 Graphics: 4/10 Creativity: 5/10 Voices: 2/10 Music: 3/10 Total: 21/50 (Twentyone) The Movies Highs: *Decent Ideas and Plot The Movies Lows: *Bad voice acting/quality of voices - volume of them too low *Premade Scenery *Bad Music Bottom Line: A little too "old school" for my taste. If this were redone with a few updates to the graphics and a few other additions it'd be hella-cool. But, as it stands now it's really not of any worth.
