Title: Diabolical Delightment: Enriched Enlightenment 2 Company: Will Maltby & Chris Ward/True Brit Productions Genre: Action Reviewed by MidbackMan Summary: The sequel to Will Maltby's EE. Primarily an action movie with good music and A decent story. Scale: 41 to 50: Very Good (Download it!, you WILL like it!!) Review: DD (as it is known to everybody) is easily my current favorite 3dmm movie possibly ever! I currently keep A very small selection of 3dmm movies on my Hard drive to save space for more important things and I also keep A favorites folder for those few movies that are extra special. Currently there are only about 4 movies in that folder: DiA, MoS, NUTS and now DD. Truthfully, I absolutley abhorred Enriched Enlightenment but when I had heard DD was released I had the strangest feeling that I couldn't pass it up. Fortunately, my gut instinct was right and DD turned out to be A simply awesome movie. The only thing I thought was A pain about the movie were the volume of the voices which were sometimes hard for me to hear above the music. Sometimes I might stop A scene so as to have the scene played without the music just to hear the dialogue. I did play the entire movie through however and I can tell you that the music selections were perfection and that the voices, although occasionally drowned out were perfect with the characters. Will and Chris had both good grips on their characters. Animation wise, there was nothing more I could have asked for when it came to all the character and prop movements. Even the scenery bounced around and adjusted to the correct view when necessary! A lot of work went into this film and it was very obvious. A very few scenes weren't always as prop filled as was in DiA as some might notice but it really wasn't A problem and many will not notice. I can only imagine how long the wait for DD would have been if Will had gone back to every scene just to animate A bush that no one will care about. Mostly though, A good deal of the scenery was already taken care of and the screen was always full of action with smpty bullet casings and explosions. Watching Gustave run and perform actions that were straight from the Matrix was really cool. I've seen A few variations of the Matrix in 3dmm but so far this has been my favorite. Everything was perfectly executed. Music and sound effects were chosen as if they were made just for this film. There was nothing that seemed out of place or distorted at any time. Will went to extra lengths to make the music in this film special and he did A good job if I do say so myself. The plot and story existed but being that it was in 3dmm and the movie came from the mind of A 3dmmer I was content with what it was: A crazy film with amazing animation! There's nothing to give away or spoil but it still had it's times. I didn't remember EE so much and for that I forgot about certain people and what was going on at times. It shouldn't be A problem for anyone else who hasn't already seen Enriched Enlightenment. All and all it was A good film but if you're expecting A story look elsewhere. Some can argue of course that 3dmm movies don't need stories and that the best ones don't. Story: 8/10 Graphics: 9/10 Creativity: 9/10 Construction: 8/10 Sound Use: 10/10 Total: 44/50 (Forty-Four) The Movies Highs: Excellent Music Fluid Scenery Adjustments Wonderfully Executed Character and Prop Animaton The Movies Lows: Voices were occasionally soft and hard to understand under the music. There's really nothing else bad I can say about this movie.
