Title: Danuser the Bad Influence Director: Sims Odom Genre: Short Comedy Reviewed By: MidbackMan 6/10 I have to be honest. I'm in this. Yes, there. I said it. I felt I should warn people ahead of time. This movie is actually pretty funny. I could've done a bit better with my acting but overall I think you got the point Sims Odom tried to tell. That's what the whole film/short whatever you want to call it feels like. As if it was kind of funny but only pretty funny because it wasn't pulled off spectacularly and rather only done fairly well... I really don't know how to say it any better. I suppose a few examples are in order. Take note these might spoil any jokes. I already mentioned my voice acting was missing a certain feeling in certain words or the speed of my sentences, et cetera. There's no more need to talk about my voices, let's move on... John Sapone appears in the film only as a non-speaking character with a text box but that's the joke. His one line of text is the joke and when and if you see it you'll understand the joke but it was worded like someone was trying too hard to be funny. Ugh, that doesn't sound how I meant it to... Okay, here's a better example of what I mean about the John Sapone joke. Maybe you might occasionally quote a TV show like the Simpsons or Seinfeld or whatever but you don't exactly say the quote how it was said or you don't say it perfectly. The feeling you might feel after messing that quote which was meant to be funny, up is the same feeling I had with the John Sapone joke. Another thing I thought was put "over the edge" is a joke near the end that Sims added after the main part of the story was over. It's pretty funny for the first scene but then drags on with a second that really wasn't worth waiting through. Sims added a scene of dialogue that added to the file size purposely. It was funny at first but then, like I said, the second scene of that was unnecessary and made the joke not so funny anymore. I know your thinking that this review was WAY too long for a short movie, since you could have watched it a few times since then. Well, keep in mind a lot of the people who read these reviews are usually the director's who read them for feedback more than others who read them to see if it's worth downloading. Well, is it? Yeah, I think it is.
