Title: Men of Seattle 2: The Beginning (Unfinished) Director: Dustin Guest Genre: Drama Type: Long Reviewer: Tuna Hematoma Depth - 13/15 Animation - 7/10 Music - 8/10 Sound Effects - 8/10 Balance - 8/10 Innovation - 7/10 Extras - 0/5 Total - 51/70 Well... it's better then the first! Dustin Guests MOS2 is better then the first, he made with Boyle, but there was still many faults. The main one (for me) was that it's about mafia type stuff, sounds silly yes, but I have never been interested in these types of films at all. Personally... I think me not liking the first one made my view of this accurate. Nothing is this movie will be remembered or admired. The only thing that was "seper-great" was Dustin Guests voice acting... but that was a problem in the long run. Many times during the movie, it sounded like Guest was talking to himself and that just made me laugh. The story is actually pretty interesting, but because we live in a media controlled era, the plot just seemed like a normal episode of Saprano's, or cheesy movie on TV, with a young kid being scared with seeing deaths and the like... but in 3dmm, it was alright. It's just too bad, as I stated earlier, I'm not interested in these types of movies. The scenery, for the most part, was a huge let down. There were some scenes that looked fantastic, but too often there was just a default blank background, or just a corner of a wall. Normally that would be ok, but it happened so often, I found myself constantly looking at the scenery and distracting me from the movie. Plus, the "||||" turned on it's side just looks ugly... but again that's just my opinion. I've been talking a lot about the faults, but this movie is not as bad as I'm making it sound. If you like this type of movie, then all the things I did not like probably won't even be noticed by you... but if you're like me, you'll find yourself pointing out all the little faults. Either way, you should watch the movie, because it's pretty good, but it's definately not something I will be recommending to people.
