I thought it had a good story and while watching the movie, I found spots that I thought were eery, which was helped by the music and the fact that the basic Idea of the film was given out to the viewer BUT the acting was horribly stale. Jeff Ching plays the lead, a cop who has to find a serial killer and during the film goes through some troubles of his own. Jeff was possibly the worst candidate for this character I could think of. Not only does he show no feeling in his acting but the lines he had were always fuck this and fuck that you fuckers... and other stuff like that. The entire cast talked like fourteen year olds. Out of all of the characters in the movie, Jeff's was one of the only voices that I could understand, though. Every other character's voices were of the worst quality. The serial killer's voice was a whisper, which I think was done on purpose but it was WAY too soft and everyone else's voice was either too low under the music or a mix of microphone static and what I thought sounded like a Mexican Accent that mumbled every other word... The animation was way too fast during fight scenes and felt sloppy. You couldn't really get a grasp of who was winning in a fight until someone's blood was spilt. Other things in the animation that were stupid included little things like scene changes. In one particular area of the movie, a fairly important scene had just concluded in the movie and in the next, without any type of fading or warning, the same character from the previous scene was in another one, in a totally different area. The movie was made to confuse. There are tons of examples of this type of bad scene changing in the movie as well as other horrible examples of animation. It really ruined the movie for me. I mean, the plot was pretty good but I couldn't stand all of the errors and holes that... omg, you can see that this is torturing me... It was... it was bad. A lot of times I'm not bothered by bad animation but it was just so bleedin' bad in this that it ruined the movie. Story: 7/10 Animation: 4/10 Scenery: 5/10 Voices: 1/10 Music: 6/10 Total: 23/50 The Movies Highs: *Cool story and ideas *Cool Music The Movies Lows: *Bad dialogue, acting, quality of voices sucked, voices too low during music as well *Bad animation, fight scenes, bad changes between scenes and horriblly bad animation that ruined any dramatic effect Bottom Line: I liked the idea of the movie and in a few spots I thought it was pretty spooky but I really couldn't look past the horrible acting and animation that totally ruined it.
