MoS, as it's known, has some of the best dramatic effect in a death scene in my opinion. I got really into this movie, so much so that when I saw someone murdered in a violent way, it really made me go, "ewww." I'm sure there have been movies with better use of different props to make more violent looking death scenes but with the mix of music and the really well done acting, it made the deaths even more gruesome. Speaking of voices, they were done pretty good and the accents on the different characters was really cool. It was unfortunate that in some scenes the quality of the voice files was half and half. By that I mean that sometimes it was good but others the voice was either too low or something in it made a cracking noise on my speakers. I'm not sure why that was but it kind of made it a bit annoying. The only other thing I thought slightly hurt the film was the few long scenes in the movie that went on with dialogue. The bad part was that the camera angle was fixed in one position the whole time and I found myself leaning back in my chair, closing my eyes and just listening to the conversations being had. Is that so bad, though? Well, it is motion "picture" and I guess anything that takes your eyes away from the picture is bad. Anyway, I didn't think too much of it still got the point of the movie. No biggie. The movie, if you didn't know, is about the daily lives of a few Gangsters (mobsters not ruff ryders) who find that their life of sin will eventually come to an end when they're confronted by a rival gang who wants control of more territory in the city. The movie eventually comes to an awesome climax as the two gangs meet and have to fight to the death. The ending has a great feeling of drama to it that really makes this movie a great one. Story: 9/10 Animation: 7/10 Scenery: 8/10 Voices: 5/10 Music: 8/10 Total: 37/50 The Movies Highs: *Good use of music for dramatic effect *Scary gore; freaky and really disturbing death scenes *One totally awesome fight scene near the end The Movies Lows: *Voice quality "iffy" *Camera fixed in one position during long talks sometimes Bottom Line: An excellent Full length drama that I recommend to everyone who wants to see one. Totally Awesome movie that I'm awarding my personal Midback's Steakhouse Seal of Approval. NOTE TO READER: Take notice that the technical scores are just that, Technical Scores.
