Title: Pulp Action 2 Company/Director: David Vecchio & Spencer Crabb Genre: Pointless Action Movie Reviewed by MidbackMan Scale: 1 to 10: Very Bad A film of just terrible Quality; Don't bother 11 to 20: Bad A few slightly redeeming qualities but still not worth your time 21 to 30: It's okay Very ordinary technical stats; Not worthless but not great 31 to 40: Good Above average; Usually recommended to the fan of the specific genre 41 to 50: Very Good Well worth your attention; Content and design are spectacular Review: I remember Pulp Action One had scenes that would last a long time and everything would happen in that one scene without any scene or angle changes. That happens in this film too. It's less than the previous but it does happen a few times. Maybe it's because this movie was directed by two different people, Spencer Crabb is the co-director of this movie and maybe the scenes that have moving camera angles are his or something. It doesn't say in the movie so I just have to assume so. It is a pointless action movie as it says up in the genre category thingy up above, there's really no story that I can find. I don't remember the first one. It musn't have been that memorable or great then I guess. Anyway, there's not real story in this other than some cops are after some guy for some reason and some fighting with guns and grenades goes on. Like I said before, there isn't as much of that, 'one scene without camera or angle changes' as there was in the first movie but it does happen and it takes away from the action. Something else that bothered me was the music. It was inappropriately placed in areas where it didn't belong and was more of a bother. There wasn't a lot of music anyway. In a bunch of areas I found myself looking at something on one scene waiting for a guy to walk across to the other side while no music played... There was no suspense due to the lack of both appropriate music and good angles. Even though there was that problem and it sounds like it destroyed the film, there was quite often a lot of good scenery, scenery that moved, and original scenes that I had never seen done before. Dialogue was almost toally gone. I don't know why they included the little bits of words that they did since there was really no conversation. BUT, it IS a pointless action movie and I have to treat it that way. Story: 1/10 Animation: 7/10 Scenery: 7/10 Voices: 4/10 Music: 2/10 Total: 21/50 The Movies Highs: *It had some original scene designs that i thought looked nifty zifty The Movies Lows: *No camera movement or music in some scenes which was boring to watch; Newbie Style Directing *Crap Music and placement Bottom Line: It's worth a watch if you wanna see a pointless action flick but it does have it's share of flaw-diddly-aws and let's not forget that it's pointless.
