Title: Regime of Terror Director: Hand Made Character (Dylan Gallagher) Reviewer: Tuna Hematoma Depth - 12/15 Animation -10/10 Music - 5/10 Sound Effects - 9/10 Balance - 6/10 Innovation - 5/10 Extras - 5/5 Total - 52/70 (3.5 Fish) One of them "dealing with 3dmm-ness" movies... and it's actually pretty good! There have been a lot of movies similar to this, which is nice, but I hope I don't see more of them in the future. They're all nice and everything, with the funky effects and the references to various 3dmm movies, but really... because it's been done a bunch of times, the whole idea kind of gets old and tiresome, but nonetheless, this one is interesting... but it's just one of those "watch once and go 'cool'" type movies. I laughed at the "Metropolis" thing when the (I guess) main guy entered... I think it was just called Metropolos as to show it's a big place, but at first I thought of Tony and when he enterted everything turned to crap, hahaha... but I don't think that was HMC's intent, but I laughed anyway, cuz I'm like that. The effects and everything were pretty cool, but as I stated earlier, this has just been done so many times, but I have never seen anything from HMC before, so I was pleasently suprised. Although, the midi that basically played through the whole movie was the most irritating thing on the planet... DAMN YOU... I THINK IT'S HALLOWEEN, BUT IF IT ISN'T, DAMN YOU... WAIT... EXCORCIST? Yeah, that sounds better, so DAMN YOU EXCORCIST MIDI! But aside from that, there is nothing really wrong with this movie... it's just nothing new and been done before. This is kind of like an animation showcase, put together with a story line to make things flow easier and faster. It's a neat little movie that I would say, "yes, that was a pretty neat movie" to other people, so if you're interested, you should download this and watch it as a short little "NEAT" thing... I need a bigger vocabulary.
