Title: Remember Company: Andres De la Hoz Genre: Short Film Reviewed By: Redwampa Summary: 5.5/10 A very short movie about the killings of the Jews with the sound track of "Schindlers List". Well, after seeing ACTA I am somewhat disappointed with this movie. Its like Andres took a "deleted" scene from ACTA and just released it as a movie, even as a deleted scene its pretty bad and you were just waiting for when it would "pick up". "Pick up" like I dunno, throw in a voice over from a German officer and how he thought about the whole thing and how he could face his family when he shot boys the same age as his son. Or dont show the Germans and give a background on just one of the characters standing in the group thats about to be shot. Tell how the Germans invaded his town with they're goosestep marches and Jew curfews, tell how he lost it all when his wife tried to stop a German Officer from taking theyre son. Tell how he's looking forward to meeting them again, hell, tell anything! But to just show a group of people get shot down is way to bland for my taste, I need something else dammit! Show me I didnt waste my bandwidth for nothing! "Give me sustenance, not eye candy." K, well that saying doesnt really apply for this movie..... just movies in general. And the widescreen effect.........I wont go there. Bottom Line: Maybe it would of worked if Andres squeezed it into ACTA. But with this just as it is I say "skip it".
