Title: Sgt. Steve - the MOVIE Company: Jason Ruiz Genre: Comedy Reviewed By: Redwampa Summary: 9.8/10 Holy shit, now thats what I call a movie. The plot goes like this, Sgt. Steve has to quit his job on the Jason show because his dad said so. So by mistake he accidently takes a raise to stay on the show for another five seasons which makes him go all...hmmmm.. "Gustave" on the drive home. He wakes up in the hospital and finds out he must go to traffic school in order to get his license back and it is there that he meets the love of his life..... which is voiced by Jeff Ching. lol Course there's alot more but Im not gonna spoil it. Superb voice acting all around, the hitman "Buddy" I found very entertaining to listen to as well as Sgt. Steve himself. The narrator who is telling the story of Steve is also fun to listen to. 99.99 custom scenes, simple at times but doesnt detract from the movie one bit, your to busy watching the characters interact and waiting for the next punch line. The music as well was nicely choosen for the scenes. The comedy in this movie has the same quality as the direction and there was never a point in which I became bored with the movie or wanted to fast forward through a scene or two. This is because it constantly entertains you with new gags, a nicely executed plot and great character development. I would have to say that this is the first movie in 3dmm which I was like "GO STEVE!" when he finnaly stood up to his father and asked about the rat problem. In other words I was involved with the characters and its quality atmosphere it created for itself. To me this is a landmark in 3dmm, another step in 3dmm directing that sets the bar higher for comedys and well.... just by directing any movie. This blows away RTGOR, it blows away almost everything and is one of the few 3dmm films that I accually enjoyed watching and left me thinking about it as the credits rolled. I didnt stop the film I just let play to the very end, thats how I can tell ifs its a good movie, thats the mark of superb directing, and thats the kind of movie that inspires me to continue working with 3dmm. Jason, I salute you.
