It's good to bring back more people to notice the old films. I don't know exactly how old it is, it had a poster of "N Sinkers" so I guess it couldn't have been born before 1999, the year N'Sync first made it big (I think). The movie starts off with a cool opening sequence, an interesting title and interesting music but then when the movie's first scene actually starts I was a bit put off by the voices the very young actors were using. It a loud scream that only a little kid or someone who has had their manhood chopped off, could perform. But after a little while you get to see where the movie is going and it really gets good. Hell, even the grating yells get to be a bit funny after a while. The movie is also subtitled, for the hearing impaired, or the people who don't want to listen to the childish screams so they turn off their speakers. The screams stop after about a fourth of the way in by the way. Now, the story is about a Mad Scientist (i guess) who made a chip that will launch a nuclear missle from his site, base, whatever but it somehow got mixed up inside a little baby girls body and eighteen years later the madman decides to pursue her with a bunch of henchmen (and a woman) to go make love to the girl (being that she's of legal age and all) so as to force the chip out of her body. The story takes one or two cool turns that I'd rather let you watch the movie to see but rest. If there was ever a movie that would deserve to be called one of "artistic vision" this is it. Little Children are brilliant. I can't even explain how that is but it is what it is. It also falls into the category of being a movie only a select group of people would like (or even sit through the first minute of) so it's hard to recommend it to everyone out there with my own seal of approval but I personally enjoyed it that much so I'm giving it just that, my personal seal of approval. Story: 8/10 Animation: 7/10 Scenery: 8/10 Voices: 8/10 Music: 8/10 Total: 39/50 The Movies Highs: *Whacky off-type of humor *Plain... yet somehow brilliant The Movies Lows: *The voices used in the beginning of the movie may turn off viewers Bottom Line: Really "interesting" movie. Hard to explain but really in words with my limited vocabulary but maybe you should check this out just to see. I recommend it if you like movies that are original (which this DEFINITELY is) and if you like a certain type of comedy that is... err, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SAY IT! But seriously, you should check this out. It's for sure one of the better "things" out there. NOTE TO READER: Take notice that the technical scores are just that: Technical Scores. The review will contain an opinion of how enjoyable the movie was overall. The Tech Scale may not reflect the opinions in the written review. As always if you agree or disagree with any of the opinions or technical scores in this article please feel free NOT to take it up with MidbackMan or the management of Review Central since no one really gives a rats ass about what you have to say.
