Title: Sniper At Andres De La Hoz's HQ, The Company: Andres Genre: Short Film Reviewed By: Redwampa Summary: 7/10 Well, my first surprise was that this was directed by Andres which was followed up by the second surprise that I actually found it funny. To explain the first surprise, well, it wasn't really a surprise more like a "wow, this is different" kind of surprise. Its a comedy for one, a thing which Andres isnt known for as being one of his stronger suits. It also has that simplistic comedy look instead of trying to make it look as realistic as possible. The feeling is also different, its got a more lively romp to it compared to DHIADW/ that WW2 movie I forgot the title of. As far as the second surprise, yes, I found it funny. That Andres would poke fun at himself with his long rants/speeches and go so far as to include the stereotypes following him around was something I wasnt expecting. The ending was was pretty funny as well and...er... well I cant spoil that. But the best part for me was when Adrian starting kicking his own ass, Im sorry but that was funny as hell. The lows in this movie would have to be the voice acting, alot of it seemed rushed and quickly thrown into the movie. Sometimes I couldn't even hear what the actors were saying because they were either to silent or the music was to damned loud. One final thought, I couldn't help but notice how Andres sounded just like "Triumph the Insult Comic Dog" from the Conan O'Brien Show. I seem to be stuck on now applying Triumph's voice to Andres's posts on the BB, well, then again they do seem to be in the same business. Do they not? Fin
