Title: The Sniper at Jason Ruiz HQ Director: Jared & Damon Friend Genre: Short Action Reviewed By: MidbackMan 5/10 a protest to Jason Ruiz' mindless posts is what this is supposed to be. All Sniper movies are protests. It's a trend, as if you didn't know. It's short, and direct to it's point about what it's supposed to be. It had some nifty animation, a new style that doesn't show off every nuance of a character moving but seems as if they cut out a few seconds between every scene change. One second a guy is laying down and the next he's running without us seeing him get up. It made it seem more faced paced and I liked that. But what I didn't like is that it's so short and didn't really make it worth a quickey. There didn't seem to be anything that peaked my interests. Some used matrix type bullet effects here and there and the music didn't really fit, I thought even though I like the particular songs used in the movie - just not in the movie. The gore level was pretty cheap, I thought and could've been more "full" when the bullet went through Jason's head at the end. Oops,I gave it away. I can't really say that this was amazingly enjoyable and it's not anywhere near the type of movie I'd recommend but there are people out there who seem to like these types of quickie violence packed movies and for them I guess it's just what you're looking for. For anyone like me, don't bother.
