Title: 3dmm Street Fight Summer Bash Company: Shagz2DOpe/BJS Productions Genre: Action Summary: An Action Wrestling Flick with it’s own unique brand of Match Coordination and excellent timing with only slight flaws in the Scenery which make A good Wrestling Movie and one of my favorite Wrestling flicks of all 3dmm time! Scale: 31 to 40: Good (Download it, you'll like it) This movie will definitely have A stay on my hard drive for A long time. It was awesome and not only because I made an appearance into the film. In fact one of the only things I would have to say I disliked were my own lines in the film which I thought after watching the movie, "I could have done better." Unfortunately, my lines were the only lines during or before the fight scenes (not including the voices in the commercials that played between fights during the film) That was the one other thing I didn't care for too much. There wasn't much of A story as far as dialogue goes. My character is the only one with lines which is A shame since the 3dmm community is full of capable talent which could have, nay, should have contributed to this film. Otherwise, besides the lack of conversation the movie simply put rocked! Before I had watched this film the Director, Shagz2Dope had said the animation was worse than in Nick the Almighty’s WM4k. Well, to Shagz, I say this: Some people may tell you that you should have used ALL custom scenes but they didn't bother me @ all. The usage of some of the pre-made scenes in 3dmm was terrific. Many Movies I have seen that used the pre-made scenes have always been the same building scene over and over. Shagz2Dope picked the perfect angles. The few scenes that were black however, I thought should have been given full scenery. Animation wise the movie was adequate and did its job. You always knew what was going on and there was never any confusion as to what someone was doing on screen. I feel that this movie had much more depth than the WM movies overall which seem to have come to be the standard of 3dmm wrestling movies. I liked WM3k because it happened that that was the 1st wrestling movie I had seen in 3dmm. WM4k pissed me off because it had no improvements to obvious mistakes. In fact WM4k was worse in many ways. All of the changes I would have made to WM4k were not implemented but surprisingly, Summer Bash turned out to include much more depth into its matches than the WM movies. There was something different about every match. Someone may have popped in unexpectedly and surprise you and the wrestling kept changing unlike WM4k which seemed repetitive. In WM4k the same action happens over and over again but in Summer Bash it kept you on your toes. I would think it is safe to say that I felt Summer Bash was much more like A real Wrestling Show. A few additives I especially liked were the commercials and the end credits. I thought it was cool when you could get to see the people in the stadium walking home after the show. I also liked that there were A variety of matches. The WM movies have only A few matches and I hear Nick was thinking of WM5k only having one match! You must never do such A thing in A Wrestling movie. It’s just not done. The musical choices were decent enough to say the least. I was pleased to hear SuperBeast by Rob Zombie playing during my match as I requested when I was asked what I wanted my intro music to be. Rollin' by Limp Bizkit is also one of my new favorite songs however it was the only song besides my intro that I remember hearing during the fights. I thought it could have been mixed up A bit more. Speaking of mixing, when I was watching my match, at one point I remember the music cutting in at just the right moment and I remember thinking to myself, "Wow, he timed that beautifully!" Overall, I thought it was A superbly executed Wrestling movie that had A few flaws in the scenery department and could have used A bit more dialogue from the competitors but I enjoyed it immensely and I give it Midback's Seal of Approval. I can only wonder what A Wrestling movie would be like if Nick the Almighty’s amazing effects and scenery was to be matched with Shagz2Dope’s Awesome Match Coordination and cool Additives. Story: 4/10 Graphics: 7/10 Creativity: 7/10 Construction: 6/10 Sound Use: 8/10 Total: 32/50 (Thirty-two) The Movies Highs: Good execution of intros, fights and songs. I’m in this movie! NOTE: Me being in this movie did not affect the score. Creative additives such as A quick and humorous beating after the movie and commericals made the movie seem more interesting and more like A real wrestling show. The Movies Lows: Occasional Slow movement of Wrestlers. No referee during the matches counting. A tricycle bell rings to signal the end of the match. I don’t know if it was meant to be humorous but I felt it didn’t work. Bottom Line: If you can live with A few flaws and want A good wrestling movie with some good twists and with A bit of humor then this movie is for you. It may not be your Men of Seattle or Dragon in America but it is definitely worth your time. Remember: eye candy isn’t everything. You have to look beyond all that and see the real movie inside. This series is bound to improve and I wouldn’t doubt the next 3dmm Street Fights to be A real contender for the top of the next 3dmm Awards.
