Title: Wrestlemania 3000 Company/Director: Nick the Almighty Genre: Wrestling/Action Reviewed by MidbackMan Scale: 5 to 10: Very Bad A film of just terrible Quality; Don't bother 11 to 20: Bad A few slightly redeeming qualities but still not worth your time 21 to 30: It's okay Very ordinary technical stats; Not worthless but not great 31 to 40: Good Above average; Usually recommended to the fan of the specific genre 41 to 50: Very Good Well worth your attention; Content and design are spectacular Review: I really really liked this movie. It has great animation and music and all that good stuff that's necessary for this type of movie but the part that kept it going was how each match kept themselves interesting by having new moves all of the time, which made the whole thing very fun to watch. There were small bits of what could be called storyline. For example, the first match involved an old rivalry from the last WM movie, where one character was pissed at the other because he had lost his last fight. I thought additions like that were cool. The voices were pretty good as well - no Marlon Brandos but it did help the movie along with some slight commentary from the announcers and hearing a few wrestlers speak to each other. I would've liked to see a little more dialogue, perhaps Nick could have added some type of involving story but I suppose that'd take away from all of the action so the little bit that is will have to do. All in all, WM3k is one of my favorite WM movies and I am awarding it with my own recommendation, which means this movie is certainly one you should check out, if you haven't already! Story: 3/10 Animation: 8/10 Scenery: 10/10 Voices: 6/10 Music: 10/10 Total: 37/50 The Movies Highs: *Great "moves" and animation of characters as well as the set *Fitting Music that pumped the movie up The Movies Lows: *Not Much Bottom Line: This is one of my favorite wrestling movies. It has great animation and music and seems to keep itself fresh with each new match. I definitely recommend this and am awarding it with my own personal Midback's Steakhouse Movie Award!
