After a disappointing first movie, then a triumphant sophomore, here comes the mediocre 3rd release of Nick the Almighty's Wrestlemania series. We all know that Nick is good at action from what we've seen from WM3k so let's speak of it's faults instead. There were 4 matches total in this wrestlefest. The first of which was fairly exciting, nothing amazing but I did expect to see the matches improve in their scale and excitement toward the end but unfortunately, unlike it's predecessor, WM4k didn't have the same flare and originality and the movie became repetetive and boring to me. By the second match the combatants (err, wrestlers) were repeating one another's moves over and over again to the point where it seemed like just "filler" and became stale. The threeway match between Tony, Cal, and Kloudi was as repetitous and drawn out as the previous match and the final match, which doesn't even take place in the wrestling arena felt horribly out of place and wasn't exciting at all due to lack of interest through the previous rounds. Like the other WM movies, this lacked in a storyline, even moreso than in the previous movie. The last movie seemed alright without it but I think this movie might have improved with some type of story that got us involved with the characters and made us want to know what was going to happen next. The end of this movie showed some promise in that area but like I said, I didn't think it really went in with the whole wrestling theme of the movie. Story: 0/10 Animation: 8/10 Scenery: 10/10 Voices: 4/10 Music: 9/10 Total: 31/50 The Movies Highs: *Good animation *Good Music The Movies Lows: *I'm still waiting to see an involving storyline *Ladder Match felt repetitous *Final Match felt boring & tagged on Bottom Line: It's got a little less spice than it's predecessor but if you're looking for some ass kicking action this is a sure bet!
