Title: Before We Go Charging Into War Director: Ben Williams Genre: Drama Type: Short Reviewer: Tuna Hematoma Depth - 10/15 Animation - 6/10 Music - 0/10 Sound Effects - 9/10 Balance - 10/10 Innovation - 10/10 Extras - 5/5 Total - 50/70 Ben Williams 7th movie and with a very powerful message that's based on the tragedy in USA. Ben gives his opinion, in movie form, about the thought of going to war against Afghanistan. The movie is presented in the point of view of one of the victims in the WTC towers. This was a very effective way to get Ben's message across. Why? Because instead of just saying, "1000's of people are dead and injured" he took the view of ONE person, which makes you feel more sympathetic (even more so, for some) for the victims. The victim can only hear his own thoughts and that was another great technique ben used, because the voice acting of the victim was absolutely brilliant! Truely flawless. Sinse this is a short movie, I've basically covered the whole movie, hehe, but I must mention the last little sequence. When the camera zooms out, to show more people that are doing the exact same thing as the one victim we've been focused on, it's literally made me get a little shiver in my back... probably helped because I had the volume really loud, but still. That was a very powerful scene, plus, it had another strong message at the end of the movie to get people to think first, before wanting to go to war. Excellent short movie, it's gets my "Greater Tuna" Recommendation!!
