It's written so well that I wouldn't expect anyone who uses 3dmm as a hobby to be able to write with such eloquence. By the Waters of Babylon is a sort of Post Apocalyptic Fantasy Film similar to such real movies as The Road Warrior and Mad Max 2. The story revolves around one character who is played by Brad Ross, as we watch him go on a long (and I do mean LONG) journey through the "forbidden lands" to discover the truth (or something like that). It's very long and you have to really wanna sit down for a while to watch this but it's really good. Brad Ross' voice was a good choice. His acting is decent enough and the quality of the voices were good enough to hear. It's good too, since he talks throughout the entire movie, almost. There were these few occasions where his narration was overlapped by the next voice file and you couldn't hear what he was saying. It was also abit annoying in a couple places where some music drowned out a voice file or two that weren't as good a quality as the others. It wasn't a big bother and you didn't lose the story by not being able to hear those couple lines but it was a bit bothersome and happened more than twice. Speaking of the music, it was hella-good. Izak chose quite a few good selections such as Led Zepplin and some themes from the PC Game "Grim Fandango" which all really set a good and appropriate mood for the movie and made it a lot more enjoyable than it would have been if we had had to sit there without music. By the Waters of Babylon isn't for everyone. I will definitely say that I enjoyed it a lot but I like to sit down and listen to a good story. I don't think everyone else is the same as me, though. I'm awarding it anyway, with my own personal Midback's Seal of Approval! Story: 10/10 Animation: 8/10 Scenery: 9/10 Voices: 7/10 Music: 10/10 Total: 44/50 The Movies Highs: *Good Narration/Story *Good 3dmm tech stats in Animation/Scenery/Music The Movies Lows: *Voice narration occasionally overlapped and sometimes was drowned by music Bottom Line: A very long movie that I thought was hella good and everyone should check it out. It's probably not for those witout patience but I'm still going to award it with my own personal Seal of Approval!
