Title: Deep Under Director: Boris Ran & Friends Genre: Action Type: Chain Reviewer: Tuna Hematoma Depth - 10/15 Animation - 8/10 Music - 8/10 Sound Effects - 8/10 Balance - 5/10 Innovation - 10/10 Extras - 5/5 Total - 54/70 "The Fight" by Brad Ross and Guy Collins was the first great chain movie to be released (and liked) and Boris' "Deep Under" chain movie sits together amoung great chain movies ...and yes, there hasn't been many chain movies, but still! This is a very entertaining movie! Boris got Tuna Hematoma (ME! *giggle*), Jeremy Dick, Mike Morelli, J.R. Dizon, Jared Friend and a bi-sexual to complete this movie. The movie was started off by yours truely and it was a typical type of plot, with a monster in a sewer that attacked people. It went on from there and a whole lot more chaos broke out. Each director did a pretty good job with their additions, but, because everyone is different, some of the scenes were lacking detail, due to the fact, people don't create scenes the same way, that kind of effected the balance of the movie from scene to scene, but not a major problem. The "carrying-on-of-the-plot" was also rather choppy because it would go from a nifty little sewer killing and then fade to the anchour man reporting all the deaths. That was kind of weird and seemed rather quick paced. Don't get me wrong, you can still follow along, it just seems oddly out of place. Well anyway, the sewer monster killed people, so the police are called in and attempt to stop him by blowing up the sewers, I guess the police force forgot about that whole, sewers-are-under-streets-and-if-they-blow-up-so-do-the-streets, but this is an action movie and realism isn't really a factor, now is it? This is where the movie starts getting pretty cool and a whole bunch of nifty killings happen (thanks to Dizon and Friend's great animation work!). But when Boris takes over to finish the movie, it's not bad, just ends REALLY quickly and makes you go, "I SMELL SEQUEL!" Overall, a pretty damn good movie, especially when it depends on so many people to do work on it! There was a little sound bug, as in, the music just kept going on in one scene and no one stopped it. Well, we'll just blame it on Mark (the bi-sexual) because it was his scene. Way to go Mark! Anyway, it's a really enjoyable, and probably a lot more enjoyable to the people involved in the movie because you watch what people do after giving them your idea to work off of... I dunno I found that kinda nifty! It's a great movie, you should definately download this!
