It has a couple songs from the real movie, "American Beauty" so I figure it's not THAT old but the use of crappy premade 3dmm scenes and really bad voices make me think that this was made when the director was still a newbie. I don't know for sure, it just seems that way from watching this movie. This review was written about the same time "Homeland 2" came out and I only decided to get this because I was informed that I would need to see this movie in order to "get" Homeland 2. I'll save you all some trouble. Homeland is about a family who lives in the 3dmm mansion and is visited by a fat slob of a man that goes by the name of Bob (played by the 3dmm character Bongo) and Bob instantly barges in and takes over the place. Sooner or later the man of the family kicks Bob out and then just a little while later a whole party of Bob's come back and take over the whole neiborhood. I don't know whether to think this a silly plot or a horror of some type. I couldn't really tell since the movie was just so badly done. The scenery was mostly premade, which I can handle but the animation was just some standard crap with some really bad "punches" thrown in. It got even worse when you heard the voices. It sounded like somebody was breathing into the microphone. Doesn't anybody listen to their own voices before using them in movies? This movie's "interesting" story isn't worth the crappy 3dmm mistakes which totally destroyed the movie for me and depending on what you like may or may not bother you. I just personally think that with all of the crap in it, the story seems even worse and the movie is not entertaining. Story: 5/10 Animation: 2/10 Scenery: 2/10 Voices: 1/10 Music: 2/10 Total: 12/50 The Movies Highs: *An original story at best The Movies Lows: *Crappy 3dmm Movie/Shit for tech stats in every category Bottom Line: A waste of time. You'll be bored by the crappy 3dmm visuals and the horrible voices and the story won't even matter to you. NOTE TO READER: Take notice that the technical scores are just that: Technical Scores. The review will contain an opinion of how enjoyable the movie was overall. The Tech Scale may not reflect the opinions in the written review.
