Title: Homeland 3 Director: Spencer Crabb Genre: Short Drama/Action Reviewed by MidbackMan Scale: 5 to 10: Very Bad A film of just terrible Quality; Don't bother 11 to 20: Bad A few slightly redeeming qualities but still not worth your time 21 to 30: It's okay Very ordinary technical stats; Not worthless but not great 31 to 40: Good Above average; Usually recommended to the fan of the specific genre 41 to 50: Very Good Well worth your attention; Content and design are spectacular Review: With the previous movies sucking so bad I really didn't want to watch this third movie in the Homeland series. But, I had prayed that because this movie was directed by Matt McGowan it'd be at least different than the others, if not better. Thankfully, I was right in that assumption on both accounts. The story is a prequel to the other two Homelands (i think) and starts off with the story of Bob and how he eventually made his way to the home of the people he took over in the first movie. The scenery isn't bad, it's not super dooper but it does it well enough and after watching the other 2 in this series, anything is better than Homeland 1. The music was also chosen pretty well. I'm not an expert on music used as drama or action but I know what I like and the score went pretty well. The voices were really the only thing I didn't think were amazing. I think Matt did them all and he did a good job with the Bob/Bongo character but I thought the Landlord in this movie who was a big part of this short movie seemed a little queer. All in all, I'd say it's a pretty decent movie to download. Nothing Classic but how often does something classic come out? Yeah go ahead. Story: 6/10 Animation: 5/10 Scenery: 5/10 Voices: 6/10 Music: 7/10 Total: 29/50 The Movies Highs: *Not Bad; A pretty good movie in a bad series. The Movies Lows: *Stupid Action that looks and makes little sense (3dmm characters fight weird) Bottom Line: You'd definitely have to see Homeland 1 at least to know what the beginning of this movie is about and I don't know about you but I wouldn't watch Homeland 1 again if someone paid me. Maybe you can do without it and just watch this one. NOTE TO READER: Take notice that the technical scores are just that: Technical Scores.
