Title: How to do an English Accent Company/Director: Contour Films/Ben Williams Genre: An Original Idea... fucking finally Reviewed by MidbackMan 10/10 Review: Finally, something original! Ben Williams is a genius. Why he spends his time using 3dmm, I don't know, but I am happy. "How to do an English Accent" is a lesson on, what else, but on how to perform an English Accent. The lesson is split up into three quick individual lessons, which are filled with Ben's own personal teachings. One thing that I thought was very funny, was that the voice exercises that are suggested in this movie actually work and by the end of the movie, I could do an English accent. The whole film has no props or 3dmm characters whatsoever, but does make very good use of texts that make, oddly enough, make the movie quite interesting to watch. Of course, it wouldn't be so "interesting" if it weren't also for Ben Williams' voice telling us how it is and what's what. He taught a good lesson and did it not only in a professional manner but managed to make more then a few belly-laughs come out from the depths of my insides. One of my personal favorite lines from the movie was during the section of the film that taught the Cockney accent. "Baisi'lee for Basically" was hilarious! This movie has a very original genius to it and whether Ben meant it as a serious lesson or if he meant it as how I saw it - as a funny comedy that has one very original idea, he has a very cool movie here. I will recommend this to everyone I see, but I do know that not everyone will go for this type of film. It's too bad for that because this is a gem. I am giving this my own personal Seal of Approval, the Midback's Steakhouse Seal of Approval!
