Title: Litterbug 2 - Finished Version Director: James Pozin Genre: Action Type: Long... I guess Reviewer: Tuna Hematoma Depth - 8/15 Animation - 8/10 Music - 5/10 Sound Effects - 3/10 Balance - 10/10 Innovation - 6/10 Extras - 3/5 Total - 43/70 Well I finally got around to seeing a movie made by Pozin and I must say, I wasn't impressed... but that's not saying it's a bad movie, but for people who call Pozin "The best director/animator ever", I really have no idea why, he's no different from Maltby, Nick The Almighty and all the other people who make pointless action movies. Yes, he is as good as them, but no better. There is basically no plot, but it's about a "litterbug" going to the chair to be executed. His buddy saves the day and gets him out of the chair before he gets fried. The rest of the movie is those 2 guys trying to escape from an "Alcatrazian" type prison. The action scenes in this movie are pretty well done, but the scenery behind them does not help at all. Most of the scenes were just stupid cubes and the only reason it didn't look as bad as it could, was because Pozin did a very effective job at making light effects look good. That's really the only thing that "higher" then in other action movies, because those effects were used quite often, which is a good thing. Along with the scenery, the animation wasn't too great. Occationaly it would go from normal to what-the-hell-was-that animation. One scene in particular which was horrible, was when cop cars were approaching the fight and it looked as if a newbie made that, the "flow" I guess I could say, was horrible most of the times. I do undrestand in action sequences the "flow" is supposed to be off to give off an unbalanced feel, but this was just ridiculous. The ending was also one of the most retarded scenes in history... you just have to watch to know why... but anyway, this movie, aside from good light effects, is pretty basic on the "good action movie" criteria... so it's nothing people haven't seen before.
