Title: Sgt Steve - THE MOVIE Company/Director: Jason Ruiz Genre: Comedy Reviewed by MidbackMan Scale: 5 to 10: Very Bad A film of just terrible Quality; Don't bother 11 to 20: Bad A few slightly redeeming qualities but still not worth your time 21 to 30: It's okay Very ordinary technical stats; Not worthless but not great 31 to 40: Good Above average; Usually recommended to the fan of the specific genre 41 to 50: Very Good Well worth your attention; Content and design are spectacular Review: THERE ARE SPOILERS EVERYWHERE (except here. this isn't a spoiler. no, this here is a warning about spoilers.) Sgt Steve kicked some ass! The story flows like one of them real comedy movies where there's a bad guy (always a bad guy. Can't have a comedy without a bad guy) and there's conflict in Stevo's life and he deals with it. That was cool. Oh, and for the most part it was pretty funny. It was more funny toward the middle and end when things sort of picked up and started to make sense but the whole thing is definitely worth a watch cuz it's a really good story and that's cool. Oh, and what else... OH YEAH! The stuff... it was good. I mean the pictures... umm, THE SCENERY! Yeah, that was done really cool-like. The sewer was cool but ewww. You'd think people would shy away from people who just swam in a sewer. Sgt Steve, he goes through his life, kicks some ass, his Dad hates gays, his boss is gay, Sgt Steve himself has a goofy voice and other stuff happens. That's all you need to know before you watch this movie. I hope the only reason you're reading this is if you're Jason Ruiz or if you're downloading it and need something to read because if you could be watching the movie right now you're an idiot to be reading this. Yes you are. I like to call him Stevo. HAHA the ending was really funny and clever. Writing this review I've contemplated by what means this movie was made. I think it's flowing could've been by accident 'cause the director (Jay) didn't pick up on obviously cool ideas like all of MINE and didn't prove the doctor who said Sgt Steve had no intelligence wrong by saving the day @ the end. FOOL! Still a good movie, though. Story: 10/10 Animation: 8/10 Scenery: 10/10 Voices: 9/10 Music: 9/10 Total: 46/50 The Movies Highs: *Story flows very cool-like. *Cool Music *Cool stuff. Oh scenes! Yeah, those were good. *Voices were cool The Movies Lows: *I didn't like how the Saved By the Bell music transitioned into the next scene *I didn't like how someone interrupted himself with his next line. *I didn't like how the bad guy ruined himself and Sgt Steve didn't do it. Sgt Steve should've been the one who said, "can i say one thing before you..." but noooooooooooo... *That's about it of things that I didn't like. Bottom Line: Very well done story (like one of them after school specials) that flows well and is pretty damn funny & clever. One of the better pieces of movie. Awarding with Midback's Steakhouse Movie Award. NOTE TO READER: Take notice that the technical scores are just that: Technical Scores.
